Everything - simply put this hotel deserves every accolade it receives. The staff, the building, the rooms and the management are all the benchmark for the rest of the industry. You are treated as a guest and not a customer.

Excellent apartment with huge lounge and bedroom. Enough items in the fridge to make a light breakfast which was a nice touch. Also nice to get a cafetiere and fresh ground coffee rather than the usual freeze dried stuff! Staff very friendly and helpful. Located within 10 min stroll of Princes Street so great location too. Overall highly recommended.

The Chester Residence really lives up to the hype, i stayed at Chester street in the Garden apartment, it has just been fully renovated and really is beautiful. Quality finish, great decoration , and the extra touches make a difference ( drinks on arrival for no other reason apart from thats what 5 star should be) Top marks to the staff i met, Neil the concierge , Anna and Katie R(There are 3 Katie's) and had the pleasure of having a coffee with the GM upon leaving. A great hotel with the awards to prove it.
